Any piece of fuel, added at any time, will increase the total range by an additional 3 minutes. The amount of fuel every furnace minecart receives is 3600 ticks (which is equal to 180 seconds or 3 minutes), so its Fuel
entity data tag changes from 0 to 3600 when you inserting charcoal or coal. Using the use button with anything other than coal or charcoal in the main hand will not consume the item and the minecart with furnace will move for a few meters but quickly come to a halt.
Minecarts with furnace can climb up steep inclines while pushing or pulling other minecarts for as long as they have fuel.
The minecart with furnace will pause a few blocks after each bend in the track, after which the player must reactivate it with the use button, unless the minecart with furnace is pulling another minecart. If a minecart with furnace is pulling another minecart and reaches a curve in the track, it will push the pulled minecart away in the opposite direction and continue powering along the track until it reaches another curve.
When a minecart with furnace is pulling another minecart with furnace they can go around curves without pausing, but they cannot pull a third minecart along, only push it forward. To achieve this, put a paused minecart with furnace on a piece of track and power another minecart with furnace into the first. They will move in the direction that the last minecart with furnace was going in and push any minecarts in front forward, all without pausing at curved tracks.
To change direction, press the use button while facing the needed direction. A furnace minecart will not break when it runs out of fuel.
Minecarts with furnace on a level track will cover 204m per minute (about 3.4m/s), or 612m per piece of coal. Pushing multiple minecarts may decrease the range slightly, depending on collisions. Minecarts with furnace can also pull up to four other minecarts behind them if the carts are first shunted together against a wall and then the furnace minecart is made to change direction.
When a Minecart with furnace bumps into another minecart or multiple minecarts, with or without player, the other minecart will be pushed forward with great speed, while the minecart with furnace continues at its own speed. When the minecart with furnace is instead pulling other minecarts they will both move at a constant speed.
Minecarts with furnace cannot be pushed or pulled by other minecarts when not powered, except by other powered minecarts with furnace, and will not accelerate on active powered rails Powered Rail Transparency Yes Luminance No Blast resistance 3.5 Tool Renewable Yes Stackable Yes (64) Flammable No Drops Itself Data value dec: 27 hex: 1B bin: 11011 Name golden_rail A powered rail is a type of rail that when powered.

Mechanics
The Minecart with Furnace accepts Coal or Charcoal as its fuel. Fuel can be added by right-clicking on the Minecart with Furnace, while holding Coal/Charcoal. Doing this will cause it to travel along a rail, in the direction the player was facing when they added fuel. As it moves along the rail, it will push any other minecarts along in front of it. Right-clicking it again, will change its direction. The Minecart with Furnace can travel along a rail for 3 minutes, for each piece of coal/charcoal inside.
When destroyed, the Minecart with Furnace will give back a minecart and a furnace separately. However, any fuel that was still left inside, will be lost.
The Minecart with Furnace cannot be used to cook Food or smelt Ore, it may only be used to push other minecarts.Minecarts with Furnaces cannot be ridden by players.
